The workshop on “Learn How to Write and Publish a Research Paper” is being organized by Department of Computer and Communication Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur under the aegis of third International Conference on Innovations in Computational Intelligence and Computer Vision (ICICV-2022). The aim of the workshop is to help the participants to structure the scientific content in rightful manner and also discuss new tools of scientific publishing. Participants will be benefited from our eminent experts who had contributed greatly to the research society by publishing plenty of Research Articles/ Books etc. Speakers will provide guidelines to the participants regarding: “How to prepare a manuscript“, “How to select a Journal for your work“, “Submission Ethics“, “Research tools/ software“, “Reference writing“, etc. However, every Journal/ Workshop provides author guidelines for submitting research articles, but there are some general ethical issues you should be aware as an author. With the help of hands-on practices as well as query sessions, participant will be able to write their research articles in a better way.

Nilanjan Dey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Techno International New Town, Kolkata, India. He is a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. He also holds a position of Adjunct Professor at Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Previously, he held an honorary position of Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA (2012–2015). He was awarded his PhD from Jadavpur University in 2015. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IGI Global). He is the Series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing (SpringerNature), Data-Intensive Research(SpringerNature), Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare (Elsevier). He is having 110 books and over 300 publications in the area of medical imaging, machine learning, computer aided diagnosis, data mining, etc. (over 15000 Citations, 60 h-index). Furthermore, he is the Indian Ambassador of the International Federation for Information Processing—Young ICT Group and Senior member of IEEE.
